Travel note: After saying goodbye to my university classmate Junhong, I remembered I hadn't seen my former Yuanta colleague Weilun in a long time—he still works in Hong Kong. Called him but no answer, so figured I'd just head back to Shenzhen. After over an hour, I passed through customs and was back in Shenzhen. When I was just one MTR stop away from where I live at KKMall, I suddenly got a call back from Weilun. After telling him why I called, he said, 'Damn, I just came from Hong Kong to Shenzhen, and you went from Shenzhen to Hong Kong!' I instinctively asked where he was in Shenzhen, and he said he was at KKMall. What a coincidence! @@ So we quickly met up at KKMall, and in the evening had dinner with Weilun and a few of his colleagues now at J.P. Morgan. Truly, planned meetings can't beat chance encounters!
