Travel note: Avoiding last week's holiday crowds, we resumed and continued our weekly Taiwan tours with university classmate Xiaoping after returning to weekdays. This week, we came to Miaoli again to visit another classmate, Brother Xiong. Today, we visited Tongxiao Shrine, Hutoushan Park Battery, Houlong Haowangjiao Wind Turbine Group, Japanese-era tunnel, Hakka Round House, Sanyi Longteng Broken Bridge... and ate delicacies like Sanyi Jinbang Noodle Shop, Taiyen Biotechnology Park ice pops, Houlong Ciyun Temple Oden Uncle, and Jinfeng Yujiang Taro Balls. Finally, in the evening, we came to Sanyi's firefly sanctuary—Shenshui Bridge. With almost no light pollution, we looked up at the sky full of shining stars and down at the ground flickering with firefly lights. The radiant glow in the darkness was truly unforgettable!!!
