At Usuki Fugu Yamadaya (Michelin one-star) in Marunouchi, Tokyo, I had fugu with Andrew in a private room on the 35th floor of the Marunouchi Building — the two of us finished a bottle of daiginjo and left feeling nicely tipsy. It was my first time eating fugu sashimi: wrapped in fugu skin, chives, and spicy grated daikon, then dipped in sauce, it had a great chew and flavor. Thanks to Andrew for the treat; after a bath, I'm heading to Narita Airport — and thanks to Yen for arranging the business car. By Morgan @2026.7.6
Location: Japan, Yokohama, Jojoen, Yokohama Sky Building 28F. Travel note: I moved to Yokohama yesterday and stayed at the Pier 8 InterContinental. Aside from meetings today, I just soaked up the relaxed seaside vibe of Yokohama. In the evening, at the Jojoen branch on the 28th floor, we had a private room overlooking the night view, pairing Japanese wine and daiginjo with wagyu. It was a wonderfully relaxing dinner. Afterward, we went to Manyo Club's outdoor bath to soak in hot springs and chat. Thanks for the hospitality, brothers~ Cheers! By Morgan @ evening of 2026.7.5
Location: YORIMICHIODAIBA Restaurant, Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan. Today I visited Tokyo Tower and Asakusa, then took a boat across Tokyo Bay to Odaiba. In the evening, Lamborghini Japan's dealer hosted a dinner for us. Coincidentally, Zayn and Yen from the Ming-Xiong Brothers also flew to Tokyo today, so we all got introduced to each other. Thanks for the hospitality—I lost count of how many Highballs I had. Afterwards, we continued the night in Shinjuku. Cheers! By Morgan, evening of 2026.7.4
Location: Bank30 Bar, Tokyo, Japan. The founder of Lamborghini also founded a winery alongside the sports car brand. The two brands operate independently but both belong to the Lamborghini IP. This afternoon, I visited the Japanese agency for the latter, located in a top-tier office building next to Roppongi. After returning to the AVA Hotel for a rest, tonight they specially arranged a small private party with their partners, featuring Lamborghini red wine and champagne, and invited our group along. It turned out that everyone there was a beautiful Japanese woman. Cheers! By Morgan @evening of July 3, 2026.
Location: Kumamoto Travel notes: Kumamoto Castle (Kumamoto-Jo), Japan. Thanks to Zixuan's invitation, came to Kumamoto where TSMC is building a factory. Visited various businesses he and his family have invested in Japan. I also invited a few entrepreneur friends who have flexible schedules and their own businesses in the US, Malaysia, Taiwan, Africa, etc. Everyone booked their own tickets, and we confirmed the departure within two or three days. Over these few days, besides enjoying various delicacies (horse meat, venison, wagyu...), we also visited many land and real estate properties Zixuan has invested in. Every night, we gathered in the hotel Zixuan's family invested in, where we were staying, drinking and talking late into the night by candlelight, then refreshed ourselves with a hot spring bath. Everyone, keeping a childlike heart and on a similar wavelength, talked about everything freely, as if we were back on our graduation trip at 18. On the last night, we bought a bunch of ingredients at a fresh market and cooked hot pot and sukiyaki at a villa in the countryside, paired with Dassai 39. Outside, the sounds of insects and frogs never stopped; inside, warm laughter continued. A perfect end to this Kumamoto, Japan trip. Samuel even made an NFT for everyone as a memento (Ming Xiong Hui): https://opensea.io/item/ethereum/0x3029b7b181c414d0347383c456ed019a13fb7abb/1. Thanks to Zixuan for all the thoughtful arrangements and hospitality throughout! Cheers! :) By Morgan @2025.6.24 evening
